Notes

There are two slightly different versions of the original 1989 first edition. This one has the disc with a small "Made In U.S.A." print on it (It just means that the disc was pressed in the U.S., but still released in Japan by Extasy Records).

Black obi, same backtray card layout and everything else is the same as X - Vanishing Vision.

A limited number of mail order copies from Extasy Records came with an extra photo booklet ('Private Photo Book') and a Hide designed sticker.

X Japan's first studio album, released 1988 Discover more music, concerts, videos, and pictures with the largest catalogue Vision, however, is much more cut and dry. Its relatively straightforward speed metal, with classical piano and orchestrations thrown in for aesthetic appeal. Thats not to say that the album isnt forward-thinking. The group was originally thought up by Yoshiki and Toshimitsu Deyama Toshi the eventual vocalist for the group when they were only twelve years old. Put simply: Yoshiki is a genius. His mastery of the piano is especially evident on X Japans later works, but on Vanishing Vision it still makes quite the impression. His style of playing is distinctively distressed. Yoshiki typically begins a piece in a very melodic, yet staid fashion. X Japan - Vanishing vision 1988. Etichetta: Extasy Records 2 EXC-001. Formato: CD, Album, Reissue. Paese: Japan.
