Cat Number is "RTO 71" and NOT RT 071 as many erroneous sources state. Not only is that confirmed by the cat number on the Labels (a clear gap between the letter 'O' and the number '71'), but is also confirmed by the matrixes in the run off grooves which also have etched RTO - 71. The 'O' being the letter 'O' and not the number '0'

Slates - The Fall. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Slates is an EP by the Fall, released on 27 April 1981 by Rough Trade Records. It was one of singer Mark E. Smith's favourite Fall releases, and he claimed it was aimed at people who didn't buy records. Slates was released on 27 April 1981. Containing six tracks and pressed onto 10 vinyl, it was eligible for neither the single nor album charts, being too long for the former and too short for the latter. It was, however, included in the UK Independent Singles chart, where it reached No. Listen free to The Fall Slates Middle Mass, An Older Lover etc. and more. 7 tracks 28:19. For the Fall fan, the bonuses on the 2004 reissue are a mixed blessing. With classic tracks like Lie Dream of a Casino Soul, Fantastic Life, and the great Hip Priest tacked on, the extras read as if from an early-'80s greatest-hits package. Great, but if there's a bummer to be had, they weaken the punch of the original Slates' sprawling attempt to restructure the Fall from punk to prog - prog in the least pretentious sense of the word. This later-period Fall album showed that Smith hadnt yet run out of ideas. The album featured more electronic accents, and rock-hard riffing. The dangerous goth swing of Mountain Energei brought to mind Depeche Mode in their prime, except Smith spins out baffling lines about Dolly Parton and patriotism. SlatesA Part of America Therein 1981. Technically an EP released on Rough Trade, Slates featured one of Smiths most rocking and unforgettable songs Leave the Capitol, which was initially a sleeper hit, released as the last song on Side 2 of the record.
