Kauan Pirut Released through Blood Music FinlandUSA on CD, vinyl, and digitally through every medium imaginable, including as a Name Your Own . Kauan - Pirut 2013. Anti Christ666. In February, 2013, while the band was mixing the album in their hometown of Chelyabinsk, Russia, an asteroid entered the Earth's atmosphere and crashed into the area. This caused production delays and put a hold on finishing the album, until the band was certain that they and their family members had not contracted radiation poisoning. The experience of the meteor was the main inspiration for the album's cover and inner artwork. The impact wave broke windows in 7320 buildings and samples of that event can be heard in track I. Kauans 2013 masterstroke, Pirut dabbles in minimalistic tones that focus on compositional greatness rather than fleeting musical contrast. Hailing from Russia Kauan promises an outweighing of ethereal soundscapes conveying emotive lights and insensible darks bringing a natural contrast without forcing the two worlds together.
