Soul of a New Machine - Fear Factory. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей. Soul of a New Machine is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Fear Factory, released on August 25, 1992 by Roadrunner Records. Although this record was Fear Factory's first studio album to be released, it was actually their second album to be recorded, after Concrete, which was recorded in 1991 but not released until 11 years later. The album was remastered and re-released on October 5, 2004 in a digipak, packaged together with the remastered Fear Is the Mindkiller EP. Fear Factory. Soul of a New Machine. Flesh Hold. Soul of a New Machine ushered in the '90s alternative metal era, even if few realized it at the time. Fear Factory were quite ahead of their time in 1992, the year Roadrunner Records released Soul, their debut album though not technically their first, which would be the later-unearthed, Ross Robinson-produced Concrete demo album. Type: Full-length. This is Fear Factory's debut album not Concrete, which was recorded in 1991 but not released until 2002. Natividad is considered an instrumental, but technically, it's just the sound of things being crushed and smashed. The track is a dedication to, and is named after, Dino Cazares's mother. This record is dedicated in loving memory of Natividad Cazares 1935-1982 and Joey Cazares 1959-1985. Recording information: Recorded at Grand Master, Ltd. Hollywood, CA, May 1992. This is a really good Fear Factory album. If you don't already own it, it's worth buying. It is closer to straight death metal than the industrial stuff that came later, but the playing is tight and the lyrics are powerful. Rmst ed. Extra Tracks, Remastered. When Roadrunner Records issued Fear Factory's unreleased first album, Concrete, in 2002, it marked the close of a long-incomplete chapter in the early history of this groundbreaking band. But as significant as that album was historically, it was even more important for another reason: it led Fear Factory to a deal with Roadrunner Records & the recording of their official debut album, Soul Of A New Machine, unleashing a new force in the world of metal. Album 1992 17 Songs. Soul of a New Machine Fear Factory. Fear Factory went on to make more successful and perhaps better albums such as Demanufacture and Obsolete, this remains the most innovative and important. Taking influence from Ministry, Godflesh and even Napalm Death, they added it all into the cauldron of hate and then added their own unique spices into the mix which in turn created this true fist of an album. Album Rating: 4. thanks guys i put my soul and passion into this review i hope to make staff in no time Wizard March 26th 2012
