Fantastic! Really pleased to see some new music from Birdie after all this time, and it's a cracker! Both songs feature that sweeter than honey bass and silky vocals that Debsey is known for, and both feel like a drop of sunshine on a summer day. This is a great addition to the Birdie catalogue!
The B-Side "Bowling Green Saturday" is by far the better song, but I think this may be sue to the mixing of "Tomorrow". I find the backing vocals in "Tomorrow" are so loud in the mix that they drown out the main vocals and shoves the vocal melody to the background, making it all sound strangely *off*. It gives the track a strange monotonous quality that comes across as unintentional. Still a great track from Birdie, but a different mix would have made it a top track.
